Mrs S. N. Armstrong of Hillcrest, is. spending a holiday with friends in Hamilton. Mrs Ingle and daughter, of Malangi, are staying with Mrs Mitchell. YVaimana. Mrs Wool field and Mrs H. Ward-* law, Waimana, and Mrs Granswick, NYikuhou North, have returned -from a short stay in AucklandAfter her address last Friday afternoon Mrs M. Dreaver was the guest at an informal tea at the residence of Mrs R. Eggers, King Street. About twenty ladies attended . Miss Joyce Tollerton, who for somfr time has been attached to the nursing staff of the Whakatane Public Hospital left yesterday to join the N.Z.E.F. Overseas Hospital Division.
