RIDING ON PATHS

WARNING TO OFFENDERS

PRACTICE MUST CEASE *

Introduced by Cr J. G. Mulholland, the practice of cyclists riding on footpaths was discussed at Monday's meeting of the Borough Council and definite action is to be made to ensure that the practice ceases.

The Council decided that the Traffic Inspector receive the co-opera-tion of all members. At present the officer was very busy with increased duties and councillors and staff members report cases where observed so that prosecutions could follow.
