ALLOCATIONS FIXED

At the Zone K Patriotic meeting held in Opotiki on Thursday, the question of the apportionment of this Zone's allocation of £16,250 of the 1942 £500,000 appeal was considered. The Zone agreed to apportion such £16,250 on the basis of the mean of rateable capital value and population. On this basis the Opotiki Intereone's proportion is £5769 and the YVhakatane Interzone's proportion £10,481. Under the arrangement made with the Auckland Provincial Council, however, the amount this [nterzone paid in excess of its quota Is credited.
