SOCIAL CREDIT

Sir,—Mr Brown's criticism is not intellectual, being an exuberance of verbosity which is far from modest, and does not excite me in the least, but as it may be bis way of getting information I will treat his reply as such. He asked me if I will deny that private trading banks exist in Alberta? Yes. There are private trading banks in Alberta! Any way what is wrong with Alberta, 1925 she has shown a Budget sujF plus every year;, at the same reducing taxation whilst all the other Provinces are increasing their taxation under the yoke of Foreign Capital. She also reduced her Bonds debt by 50 per cent; whilst the Treasury Currency (vouchers) are highly acceptable by the public because they can buy 7 per cent more goods than Canadian Currency and furthermore these vouchers are accepted by the private Banks and passed through the clearing House. The lesson we get from Alberta is "United we stand, divided we fall." There" are those jn this world who would keep vis divided to our own destruction (any one wanting further information I Avill gladly reply by post). Yours etc,, * W. BRAD SHAW, Box 45, Taneatua.
