KEEN CUP COMPETITION'

The Taneatua Lod paid a visit to M.U.1.0.0'.F. Lodge lenged for both the Indoor, and Table Tennis Cups. The contests took place at the Parish Hall and the visitors were successful in both their challenges, although the scoring was very even, especially in the bowling. Table Tennis results were as follows, local players being first mentioned:— Litchwark 31, Hammond 21; Miss Hodder 28, Broadmore 31; Russell 15, Teasdle Snr 31: Mrs Coull 21, Teasdale Jnr 31; Chapman 31, Jones 20. Litchwark and Miss Hodder 31, Hammond and Broadmore 21; Russell and Mrs Coull'21; Teasdale Snr and Jnr 31. . Bowling: Moore, Mrs Teasdale, Mrs Hammond. Mrs Moore (Taneatua) defeated Mrs Burnett, Mrs Stubbs, Miles and Gresswell (Wha-* katane) 8-6, 5-7, 8-7.
