Abattoir Proposals
His Worship the Mayor, Crs S. S. Shapley, C. S. Armstrong, W. Sullivan, Messrs D. V. Saunders (town clerk) and W. S. Henderson (borough foreman-engineer) visited Rotorua and Te Aroha yesterday to- inspect abattoirs. They were met by representatives! of both Rotorua and Te Aroha Councils and gained valuable information which will be applied to the selection of an abattoir site for Whakatane.>
