GOLF SEASON CLOSES
THE WHAKATANE CLUB
SATURDAY'S GAMES
The club closing day was held last Saturday and proved a very successful afternoon. A Mixed Foursome over nine holes was played and then players went on to the long driving and approach and puitting compete tions. The mixed foursome was won by* Mr Mikkelsen and Mirs Loane. The A Ladies Long Drive, Miss Black; B Ladies Long Drive, Miss M. Bullard; A Ladies Approach and Putt, Mrs Mussett; B, Mrs Winstone; C, Miss L. Luxton.
At the close of play the club president, Mr Ia W. Luxton, addressed the gathering and trophies for the season's matches were presented.
