ECHO OF RECENT FIRE

ACCUSED AGAIN REMANDED

Charged with an attempt to commit arson, the charge following the accused being found setting fire to paper si in Messrs R. F. Smith's and H. O. Caraway's offices on Saturday, October 25, Alexander Hume appeared before Mr E. L. Walton, S.M., at the local court yesterday and was remanded to appear again on November 12.

The application for remand was made by the Police it being stated that the accused was still under medical observation.

On a charge of drunkenness Hume was convicted and discharged.
