ENTRANCE EXAMINATIONS
The following candidates) for the New Zealand Air Force 1 sat for their preliminary entrance examinations at Whakatane last Tuesday and' Wednesday. Pilots and Observers: A. W. Beaufoy, J. A. Fleming, E. J. Paltterson, R. H. Sinclair, Gunner J. Melville. In connection with the above the Director of Educational Services to the Royal New Zealand Air Force, Mr E* Caradus, paid; a special visit to the town, to' thank in person those who had carried out the examinations from time to time, viz. Mr and 1 Mrs J. Bigelow, and Mr C. C.
Southey.
