RACE AGAINST TIME
With twenty minutes in which to make 57 runs, Central went for a "dip" at the week-end and narrowly missed gaining a four point win. Excitement ran high as the batsmen fought for the runs to be two short of victory at stumps. The game resulted in a tie on th<? first innings each side obtaining 51 runs. In the second knock P. and T. were all out for 56, leaving Central 57 to get in the time. K.
