SPORTS CLUB

Another meeting of the club was held on October 11. There were about 26 present and games and various activities went with a swing. One of the interesting features of the evening Avas the indoor basketball. This is a fast and extremely interesting sport and members are shoAving both keenness and promise. Home Guard 1 The Home Guard met as usual on Saturday, October 11. There was a good attendance of members. The usual business A\*as attended to. The instruction and function of a Mills bomb was explained and throwing practice taken. Stalking was also practised by members of the unit. W.W.S.A, There Avas a full attendance of members at the meeting held on October 11. The series of Home Nursing lectures Avere brought to a close. These have been both interesting and beneficial.

A general, meeting was called at which various details dealing with the organisation were discussed. It was decided to assist the Institute in their running of a Paddy's Market.
