CARD EVENING
LYCEUM CLUB'S EFFORT
R.S.A. BENEFIT
The Returned Soldiers' Association funds Avill benefit as the result of a card CA-ening held on Saturday night in the King Street Hall by the members q[ the Lyceum Club.
The hall Avas attractively decorated by the committee responsible for the arrangements, progressive bridge and 500 AA T erc played. The prizes in the former being Avon by Mrs Searle and Mr Connell and. in the latter by Mrs Shapley and Mr Atkinson.
A most enjoyable supper Avas served and after this the prizes Avere presented by the president of the club, Mrs S. C. Spcnce, Avho thanked those present for their attendance and help in making the evening a success. Mr K. Runciman returned thanks to the club on behalf of the Returned Soldiers' Association.
The evening concluded Avith the singing of the National Anthem.
