A Fowl Returned.
A' new angle to a chicken-stealing jtory was given by Dr D. EL Hangen, Principal of the Christchurcl* Technical College, to the meeting of the college board. Recently, Dr. Hansen said, a marauder had cliinb?d the netting fence of the fowlyard at the college hostel at Ensor's road, «ind had "got away with hen's, coops. eggs, and all." "We are now wondering," Dr Hansen added, "whether this will be similar to last year's occurrence, when some person got away with fowl and eggs, and later. Apparently when the chickens ha<fr been 'weaned,' returned the fowl.*
