Mrs Reg Andrews, of Oliope Beach, has received notification after a lon£ silence that her husband, L/Cpl R. Andrews, is now a prisoner of war and is being retained in Crete for work in the hospitals there. As yel Mrs Andrews has not received any official communication on the matter, but the note from Her husband confirms it beyond all doubt.
