YESTERDAY'S SHORT LIST

Before ■Mr E. L. Walton, S.M., at yesterday's Court judgment by default was awarded the plaintiff in the following civil cases :—

N.Z. Loan and Mercantile Agency v Narsei Naran, claim £15 6s Sd, costs £4 G's fid; T'. Duley v Daisy Hawiki, claim KG 14s, costs £2 7s 6d; Wheelers Garage v Jack Biddle, claim £22 18s sd, costs £4 18s 6d; Commissioner of Taxes v Fred Saville, costs £2 lis; Margaret Craig v A. Ellis, claim £11 Os 6d, costs £3 4s: Margaret Craig v J. Carroll, claim £5 5s 2d, costs £2 Os 6d. Judgment Summonses A. J. Hughes was ordered to pay A- G. Quarterly £22 19s sd, forthwith, in default 23 days gaol.

The Mutual Supplies Ltd proceeded against V. H. Kemp for £16 0s fid. Following the hearing of evidence an order was refused.

Bridgers Ltd. claimed £4 17s 4d from T. Kawhata. The debtor was ordered to pay the sum owing forthwith, in default 4 days.

M. Naran was ordered to pay Bycroft Ltd. £50 9s 4d forthwith, in default 30 days.
