Friends of Private Bill Bridger will regret to learn that he has been admitted to the Auckland Hospital suffering from pneumonia.
The 1 Post Office staff Whakatane has been subjected to a change in the staffing. Mr H. H. Sheather concluded his duties in the Telephone Exchange on Wednesday toi entei into camp at the Levin Aerodrome. Messrs Butcher and Delahunty, Telephone Exchange Clerks,, will finish their duties on the staff on Saturday to take up positions outside the De-* partment.. One of the oldest members on the staff, T.. H. Dixon, has received notification of his transfer to the General P.O. Wellington and will go forward as soon asi he can be released.
