OHOPE v WHAKATANE

BEACH-COMBERS DEFEATED

A team of six men and lady en J thusiastic ping-pong players travelled /to Ohope last Wednesday night for a friendly match against Ohope players. A 1 very enjoyable evening was spent and several good matches took place. Mr M. Johnson spoke on behalf of the Whakatanc groups and thanked the opposing club foi their night's entertainment and special thanks to the ladies for putting on supper. Mr Lipscombe, club captain for Ohope responded and said he hoped there would be a return match in the near future.
