Proceeded against by the County Traffic Inspector (Mr A. Garlin;*) Bishop Maul was fined 5s with costs £1 5s 6d foir driving without a licence. Breaches of Orders'. Te Moni Kepa was fined £1 with costs £1 17s for a breach of an order. Mill Worker Hurt. Mr William White, employee of the Whakatane Paper Mails, received injuries to his hand at the week-end which necessitated his entry into' the local hospital. His hand was crushed with the middle and ring fingers suffering severe lacerations. His condition is satisfactory.
