WOOL DISTRIBUTED
PATRIOTIC WORK
PARCELS TO BE! DESPATCHED
At Saturday's meeting of the local Patriotic Committee the secretary, Mr C. G. Lucas, reported as follows:
Since last meeting 63lbs of wool have been distributed. It Is my iiu tention to forward all knitted articles to Wellington on 12th September and if committees could arrange to have all knitted articles on hand forwarded here before such date their action would be appreciated. The staff reports that some confusion is resulting where parcels of knitted goods are left on the counter and such parcels in no way indicate the contents or the commiitee from which such have been forwarded. If such details, together with the name and address off the committee could be clearly indicated on the outside of every parcel of knitted goods, work in this office would be facilitated.
