Staff-Captain G. H. Brebner leaves to-morrow to enter Officers Training School at Trentham Military camp. He will return to Whakatane After one month's training to reorganise the Home Guard. The engagement is announced between Litutenant Arthur John Waller (Pet<?r) Miartin, Royal Naval Volunteer Reserve, Singapore, elder son of Mrs B. L. Martin, Allenby Avenue, Devonport, and Dorothy Alice, elder daughter of Mr and Mr? W. R. Boon, "Raupo,"' Whakatane.
