Whitebait Running. I't is reported that whitebait are running well in the Rangitaiki river, one resident of Wliakatane at least being "in the know." and returning with large catches. Sons of the Diggers. In pasi weeks the heavy rain somewhat hampered this work, but during the past few days a considerable amount of metal has been spread.
