PRESENTATION TO MR a R. TAYLOR A short function was held in the Commercial Chambers, Whakatane, by the staffs of the Native, Public Works, Transport and Agriculture Departments, when a farewell was tendered to Mr C. R. Taylor who is leaving at the end of the month on transfer to Rotorua.. Morning tea was tastefully served by lady members of the'staff. Mr L. H. Brown spoke on behalf of the Native Department in. his usual hearty vein, other speakers being Mir McDonald for the Public? Works Department, and Mr J. H. Delves for the Transport mentMr Taylor, who was the recipient of a leather letter folio and Eversharp pencil, suitably replied.
