LONGER LEAVE
EXTENSION GRANTED
TROOPS' TRAIN ARRANGEMENTS
An extension of time, from Friday to Monday has been granted: men at present on leave. The leaving times were previously published, but we these for the convenience of those who may have overlooked them.
The change follows a statement on Sunday byi the Minister of De-
fence, the Hon. t\ Jones, that fresh arrangements were being made which would give them a longei period of leave.
A new time-table for departure has been compiled and is as follows:
For Papakura: RotorUa —Ordinary train, 4.30 p.m. Bay of PlentyExpress from Taneatua 8.30 a.m.
For Ngaruawahia: Rotorua —Granary train, 4.30 p.m. Bay of Plenty —Express from Taneatua, 8.30 p.m.
For Trentliam: Rotorua —Ordinary train, 4.30 p.m., changing at Frankton where they will leave at 10.8 p.m. Bay of Plenty:—Express from Taneatua 8.30 a.m. changing at Frankton, where they will leave at 10.8 p.m.
For Burnham: Bay of Plenty—Express from Taneatua 8.30, to catch the Limited Express at Frankton. leaving there at 9.40 p.m.
