MAGISTRATE'S COURT

DEBT CASES

Judgment for the plaintiff by default was awarded by Mr B. L. Walton, S.M., at Tuesday's Court in the ollowing undefended civil cases:—.

The Commissioner of Taxes l v Wm. Waikato, claim £27 10s, costs £1 125: Loan and Mercantile Agency Ltd. v C. E. Brown, claim 17s 2d, costs 13s; Rangitaiki Co-op. Rural Intermediate Credit Association v Trevor C. Rowlinson, costs 15s.

Johannes Anderson claimed £35 (>•; Gd from Wm. T. Prentice and C. ii, Prentice. Debtors were ordered io pay amount owing in default oil days' imprisonment..

Wheelers Garage v Turanga Whauarau, claim £5 lis. Debtor wai ordered to pay amount owing in fault five days' imprisonment, summons to be suspended so long as •debtor pays 5s per month.

E. Simpson was ordered to pay Chas. R. Whittle £2. 15s 6d, in do. fault two days' imprisonment.

Valentine Savage wa s ordered to pay Amos and King £8 lGsi 6d, in default 8 days' in gaol, warrant to be suspended so long as debtor paid 5s per month.
