As a result of the recent publicity afforded the Girl Guidte -movement through! these col■urans we are pleased) to be aible to announce thlat a public meeting of all interested wiil'l be held in the High School at 7 •p.m. this evening. Mrs L. Bail'four, District Commissioner, of Gisborne. will address the gathering and steps will b© taken to set about the forming of the first Whakatane Company.
