LYCEUM CLUB
DRAMA CIRCLE
The ladies of the Lyceum Club met in the rooms last Thursday for the monthly play reading. The first play was called "Mystery Cottage."
The cast was: Joan (Mrs C. Thomas). Poppy (Mrs A. Bridger), Sybil (Mrs Keir), Jessje (Mtiss B. Allan), A Woman (Mrs Appleby), Eleanor (Mrs Lucas), A Maid (Mr* Morice) .
The second play was "The Deceit i'ul Miss Smiths," the cast being: Elizabeth Smith (Miss Greenup), Eleanor Smith (Mrs Carter), Eixima (Miss Howell), Ethel (Miss Boon), Martha (Mrs Blair).
The hostesses for the afternoon were : Mrs Luxton, Mrs A. Bridger, Mrs C. G. Lucas.
Those present were : Mrs G. Otley, Mrs G. Farmer, Mrs Luxton, Mrs Lucas, Mrs N. Carter, Mrs Blai; (Edgecumbe), Mrs Appleby, Mrs Keir, Mrs Morice, Mrs Cole, Mrs Haw ken, Mrs H. Armstrong, Mrs Jos. Boon, Mrs Arthur Bridger, Mrs R. Boon, Mrs Pearse, Mrs Brabant, Senr. Misses Greenup, Howell, T'ait. Allan D. Boon.
