Mrs D. Ingle and daughter of Hamilton are the guests of Mrs J. Mitchell, Waimana.
After 12 years in Rotorua, Mr C. S. Palgliesh, Fields Instructor to the Department of Agriculture, is retiring shortly after 40' years.' ser-. vice with the department. He will be replaced by Mr G.. R. Taylor, of Whakatane, who was one' of the (igriculturalists who investigated the mineral deficiencies in the pumicelands.
