ACCIDENT WITH GUN

MAN LOSES TOE TRIPPED ON WIRE! When out with his shotgun during the week-end at Thornton, Mr Keith Day, a shareniillcer of that district tripped over a piece of wire protruding from the ground with the result that his gun discharged and the shot struck his foot and removed his big toe. The injured man was admitted to the Whakatant Hospital where he 1 is progressing satisfactorily.
