SPLENDID EFFORT The following is the result of one year's effort on the part of the personnel of Messrs Tunnicliffe and Go's mill, PongakaAva Valley. The employees Avork one half-day per month for the Patriotic Fund and the employers add £10 to the employees total per month.* The total for the year ending May, 1941, amounted to £274 18s. The "Parcel Fund" by which collection the ladies make up and despatch parcels to knoAvn members overseas, amounted to £54 18s for the same period. The total effort of £329 16s is-sorr.t" thing Avell worth while and gives the personnel great satisfaction. The amount of £274 18s has been fonvarded in tAVo-monthly instalments to the Western Bay of Plenty Zone Executive of the Patriotic Fund.
