PHYSICAL TRAINING

INSTRUCTION FOR HOME GUARD AND W.W.S.A. CLASSES WELL ATTENDED Instructors of physical training from the Department of Internal Affairs, are visiting Whakatane this week to coach members of the Home Guard and the Women's War Service Auxiliary. On Monday and Tuesday nights* Mr C. Jones put through their paces some sixty Guardsmen, who will in turn instruct other members of the Guard. On Thursday and Friday evenings the members «of the WAV.S.A. will receive tuition from Miss Stephenson.
