ANNUAL MEETING OFFICERS ELECTED The annual general meeting of llie Whakatanc Branch of the Plunket Society was held in the Parish Hall on the 22nd inst., at 2.30 p.m. Those present were: Mesdames C. Caisley (chair), L. Luxton, S. Sliapley, E. Dawson, N. Cairns, A- Kendall, S. Caul s ton and C. Zinsli. Apologies for absence were received from the Mayoress, Mrs B. S. Barry. Hie President, Mrs C. C. Sou they, Mesdames W. Sullivan and Dixon. Minutes of the last annual meeting were read and confirmed and the annual report and balance sheet was read and adopted. Election of Officers. President: Mrs C. C. Soutliey (reelected) . Vice-presidents': Mesdames L. Luxton, A. Kendall (re-elected), N. Cairns. Hon. Vice-presidents: Mesdames L. Buddie, F. Cutler, W. Sullivan, F. Sutcliffe, B. S. Barry and C. Caisley. Secretary: Miss W. Thatcher. Treasurer: Mr C. A. Suckling. Auditor: Mr C. Good. Advisory Board: Drs. F. J. Appleby, E. T. Dawson, A. F. Cole, Messrs L. Buddie, W. Sulliivan. Committee: Mesdames S. Sliapley, B. S. Barry, Zinsli, Dixon and C. Lucas. A vote of thanks was proposed to Mrs Southey for her keen work ind interest as president during the past year, and carried with acclamation. Thanks were accorded also to Mrs Caisley for presiding, and to the outgoing committee.
