Mr J. K. Lees, of the Te Puke Post Office staff, has taken up duty at Te Teko, where he has been appointed Postmaster. Before leaving he was made a presentation by members of the Te Puke staff. Constable J. S. Howell, of Danne- > virke, who was appointed to jo4n the local Police Force is now not. accepting the transfer and in his stead Constable G. H. Thomasen. also of Dannevirkc, is to take up ' duty shortly. A wedding took place at St. Luke's Anglican Church, Manurewa, recently, when Miss Joan Martyn, only daughter of Mrs F. H. Barnard, and the late Mr H. Martyn, formerly ■ of Te Puke, was married to Mr Leonard James Keys, second son of pVfr and Mrs Ben Keysi, of Te Puke. |
