ARGUMENTS FOR NON-STRIPPING
ARTICLES an 4 letters recently appearing in this paper have lead to the re-introduction of the subject of non-strip-ping. The question, we feel, is old enough now to have shown results following experimental testing. There should be: no need for any farmer to be 'in the dark' regarding it. The pioneer of the movement, who topped the herd producstion test in the Northern Wairoa three years ago, claims that his cows are still producing well and showing no illeffects. Slowly other farmers, willing to take the same risk, are following the lead given, and from their own accounts nothing of a drastic nature has occurred to influence them to change their minds. If, with comparative safety, the irksome labour of stripping, can thus be overcome, it will be a genuine God-send .to the hard pressed farmers who are regarding the forthcoming season with a good deal of temerity and anxiety owing to the labour shortage.
