Nash, on July 1. The approximate totals from official lists issued since the beginning of April, are: Killed, 483; wounded, 161(5; missing, 3607: prisoners, i.6'B.
Potatoes in Jackets. Potato-peeling will soon vanisu from the army in. Australia following an order just issued by the army authorities that in future all potatoes shall be cooked in their jackets ■)ecause of the valuable properties which lie just under the skins. An investigation showed that there won considerable wastage owing to thick peeling by members in the fatigue squads.
