EXTENDED SERVICE YOUNGER CHILDREN ADMITTED The enrolment of children under school age for service at the School Dental Clinic should be effected before Tuesday next and parents who wish to avail themselves of this extension of the service should 1 call at the clinic andi interview the nurses It will be remembered that recently thei Dental Clinic Committee announced that, a s all schools hat) been given the opportunity of par-, ticipating in the scheme, the time had arrived when the* service could be extended and children und6? live years given attention. This means that children undeT two and a half years of age may Teaeive free attention from the nurses, while those over that ago may obtain the service for the pay-, inent of* 5/- per year. In introducing this scheme the committee felt that the informal tion and advice which mothers wilt receive from the nurse would prove to prevent trouble with the infant': teeth*, wliile at the same time, in receiving the attention, the infants "will become accustomed to having their mouths examined and thiswould be.' of great future benefit. The scheme is available only ir> children with the areas, served by'the -clinic.
