, YESTERDAY'S HEARING SITTING OF MAGISTRATE'S COURT The lisit of debt cases heard at the local court before Mr E. L. Walton, S.M., yesterday was not a long one. Judgment for the plaintiff by default was awarded in the following undefended eases: — Mrs N.. Cliing v C.. E. Brown, claim £8 4s; 4d, costs' £1 15s 6d. M. Michael Ltd. v K. McKenzie, claim £2 13s; 4d, costs £1 8s 6d. H. F. McDonald v Jack Te Moni, claim £9 16s 6d, costs £2 7s 6d. Bridgers Ltd. v, W. Sellwood, claim £10 2s 6d, costs £3 4s. Whakatane Borough Council V Pango Whetu, claim £14 4s 3d, costs £1 Bs. Bridgers Ltd. v W. J. Cottrell, claim £9 7s 7d, costs £1 12s 6d.< Wheeler's. Garage v Teddy Biddle, claim £7 13s 3d, costs £2. 5s 6d. Wheeler's Garage v Wallis Stevens, claim £1 12s, 3d, costs £1 35.. Judgment Summons. R. Park junior was ordered to pay Wheeler's Garage £4 12s 3d, in default four days in Whakatane gaol. Arthur Stanley, George G'ruse and Chas Cruse v Edwin Herbert Howell, claim £72 17s 9d. T'het debtor was ordered to" pay the amount owing, in default 30 days gaol, warrant lo be suspended so long, as debtor pays £5 per month.
