INSTALLATION CEREMONY The half-yearly installation of officers of the Edgecumbe Lodge U.A.O.D. was held in the 1 Edgecumbe Hall on Thursday evening. -Officers "installed were as follows < J.P.A: Brother K. Melville. Arch Druid: Sister Neal. "Vice Arch: Sister Learning. 'Outside Guardian: P.A. Bro. Villis TTnside Guardian: Sister Villis. Arch Bards: Sister Mull ins and "P.A. Sister Snelling. Vice Arch Bards: P.A. Bro. Neal and Bro. D. Neal. Master of Ceremonies: P.A. Bro. (Gattsche. The installation ceremony was performed with impressive dignity : by the District President, Brother •Gleeson, of Rotorua. Visitors, from LRotorua Lodge were also present. On behalf of Edgecumbe Lodge P.A. Bro. Villis complimented D.P. Gleeson on his rendering of the installation ritual, and Bro. Gleeson in rerply said he was pleased to see the senior officers of the Lodge so willing to take office to keep the Lodge going in these difficult times. Many of the younger members' were -away on active service, and unless the older members were willing to carry on, the Lodges might cease f o exist. Supper was; served and the evenitis pleasantly passed, concluding with Auld Lang Syne.
