MILITARY GYMKHANA

WHAT will probably be the largest military display of its kind ever to be seen in Whakatane, will take place on July 26,, when the local Mounted Platoon of the. Home Guard will stage a Gymkhana, which will include competitions and novelty events for all sections of the Home Guard movement, The Whakatane and Rotorua Pipe Bands will be present and the entire programme will be in the hands of a capable committee, the aim of which is to produce something well worth coming to see.
