SO WHAT?
Sir, —There seems to lot of arguing going on over Ghildrens* Day Competitions at the Annual Winter Show. They are very good and should be encouraged but the present arrangements seems far from satisfactory. I like to see and hear the kiddies perform, but it's! not much fun treking about two miles each way from the Winter Show ta King Street Hall. Ghildrens' Day should be their day, so let them see the show and enjoy themselves. Anyway the public wants something different. It's a long tima since we saw a Punch and Judy Show, a tug-o-war or a chopping match, and how about somei of thr ~liool boys having a boxing con* v cst? Yours etc., A. WALKER.; fContinued foot of previous column!
