Unusual Charge. A casic of a most unusual na'uiT wns heard before Mr W. H. Freeman S.M., in the Rot or u a Court on Tuesday, when Phillip Matthews, a Maori was charged with failing to continue the treatment of a highly-contagi-ous, disease, and also with failing to ■"ollow a doctor's instructions for the care of the disease. Matthews was convictcd and fined £8 with costs 3 10s on one charge, the other be>g dismissed.
