REUNION OVERSEAS
WHAKATANE BOYS CHANCEMEETING ARMY AND NAVY MEN An interesting letter from Ablebodied seaman Brian James of Whakatane was received recently in which he states that he had the great pleasure of meeting up with several of his old friends, from this district when his ship called in at an Eastern port. He mentions Bob Stewart, Vera Timbs, Don Stewart and Trevor Hill. There was a regular reunion and the boys wound up a happy few hours with an enjoyable tea together.
