PATRIOTIC DAY HELD DRAW ANNOUNCED On June 2, the King's Birthday, a most successful Patriotic Day was held on the Wliakatane Golf Club's links. The weather wa* bright and the links in excellent order for the competitions in which many player:; took part. The numerous entries were responsible for an appreciable sum being contributed to the patriotic funds. In the morning matches C. Herrold, Mrs Standrin and Miss K. Cater (non-handicap) were the winners, while in the afrfrnoon W. Syme, Mrs J. Thomas and Miss J. Bullard (non-handicap) annexed tli>; trophies. This Week's Draw.
