FAREWELL DANCE TO-MORROW NIGHT

ATTENTION is drawn to the Patriotic dance which is being run to-morrow evening at short notice, by members of the Whakatane Women's Working Committee. Opportunity will be taken, to bid farewell to a number of local men mow on leave, while the social will also act as an official welcome to others. The funds of the various dances run by this committee are devoted towards Soldiers' Farewell Gift Fund, thus enabling that body to function more effectively by virtue of a steady contribution from this quarter.
