INQUEST AT OPOTIKI
DEATH OF VISITOR
FALL FROM WINDOW
The inquest concerning the death of Allan Walter Ivai\ Cameron, whose death occurred at Opotiki 011 March 25 as a result of a fall from a window at the Masonic Hotel, was concluded at the Opotiki Courthouse on Friday last,, before the district coroner, ( Mr F. J. Short. The coroner returned the following verdict: That Allan Walter Ivan Cameron came, to his death on March 25, 1941, at the Opotiki Hospital, the cause of being being haemorrhage of the brain caused by a fracture of the skull when he fell from the window of the Masonic Hotel, Opotiki, and struck the footpath, there being no evidence to show how he came to'fall.
