"THE IMMORTAL SPIRIT"
The hearths and homes of England That cradled Britain's race Where memories fondly gather from o'er the earth's wide face! Meccas of recollections sweet A're bent and open to the street. The hallowed anthem haunted aisles tn which the Nation prayed • Are ruined desecrated piles Wrecked by the renegade. Though hearths and homes and Holy Shrines Of Britain may be torn The spirit that created them By suffering is reborn. The fallen homes, the Sacred Shrines Cn peace will rise again And prove to efirth's Eternal God Omnipotent doth reign. H. SERGANT.
