SOCIAL EVENING

LOCAL ODDFELLOWS ENTERTAIN A very enjoyable social' evening took place in the Parish Hall last Wednesday, when members of the local M.U.1.0.0.F. entertained their friends. Bright dance music was supplied by members, and a Monte Carlo'waltz was won by Mrs •Johns and Mr Cresswell. A well rendered ssol'o by Mrs; Cresswell was greatly appreciated. Supper was served by a capable committee. Mr W. Russell was M.C. It is hoped in the near future to promote similar evenings in conjunction with the» Edgecumbe and Taneatua lodges.
