Many shops are without stocks. ! One large supplier of blankets recently produced ordieir books to sthow | that orders by many city firms lodg--; ed as far back as January, 1939', lsact either been partly supplied or en~ tardy unfulfilled. There . wass no* prospect of any appreciable relief before the winter.
