OTAKIRI MEETING A meeting of the Otakiri Patriotic Social Committee was- held at the residence! of Mr L. Cristall l on Thursday, May 1. There were nine members present : Mr and Mrs Cristall, Mr and Mrs T'ickner, Mrs Speirs Miss TunniclifTe, Mr Kedlgley,. Mr Dunning, Mr Mackrell. An apology far absence was received from Mr andj Mrs Lord. Mr Dunning was elected chairman for thei coming year and Mrs. Tickner secretary and treasurer. It Avau <!o'.:iderf to carry on with the policy of holding dances as usual on the second Thursday of each month.
