THE PIPE BAND

Sir,—ln answer to the letter 'Wake ■■ (Jp Pipe Band' I resent the criticism : deeply. With all- respect to the Boys' Band and they deserve credit, ' the council and citizens support this organisation. The senior band has almost fallen through,, by lack - of support. May I ask what-support the Piper's have had ? They are always on : the job, firstly Home Guard,. Win^ 1 ; ter Show, Farewelling. Troops, Centenary, last and not least "Luke's Gfci'^artvkes. sad day when they refuse. Yours etc., > NOT SCOTCH.
