NEW FIRE STATION
NEW SITE WANTED BOARD LOOKS TO FUTURE The Whakatane Fire Board considers that the rapid growth of the Borough makes the time opportune for the Board to consider acquiring a suitable site for future building operations and considers that a site more south than the present station would be most suitable in view of the fact that it would be more central and convenient. These views were the outcome of a discussion at the annual meeting of the Board held' recently when it was decided to make investigations regarding the acquisition of a site.
